Sunshine. Blessed Sunshine.

It's summer.

That means it's time for
Universal Truth Number Thirty One
Sunshine + Lazy Days = The Perfect Summer

I started making a list of things that I wanted to do with my lazy summer days.
Side walk chalk murals
Lemonade in the shade
Naps in the grass
Learning to longboard
Feeding the ducks at the local park

As my list began to grow, I began to laugh at myself. Only I could complicate something as wonderful and carefree as summer with a mess of planning.

So if you'll excuse me, I'm off to do some wonderful, unplanned nothing.
Talk to you in a month or two.

I received some of the best summer-time advice, I thought I'd share it with you.

GO! Have some backyard adventures! Do cartwheels, bake muffins, write a nice note to someone you care about, get some ice cream, play with a dog, roll in the grass, eat fortune cookies, play with play-doh, eat sunflower seeds while wearing sunglasses, finger paint, plant a garden, learn to play guitar, learn to play the autoharp, play red rover, visit a neighbor, pop some popcorn, make a smoothie, make sidewalk chalk art, make grilled cheese sandwiched (in memory of LHS lunch time), run a mile, walk a mile, crawl a mile, don't do that last one, fly a kite, make some crafts, cut pictures of venice out of National Geographic magazine, read War and Peace, jump in a puddle, jump in some pudding, eat out, eat in, eat escargot, draw a picture, visit USU in the summertime, go to a museum while wearing glasses, write a book, write a Blantae story!, people watch, microwave marshmallows, see how many pop rocks you can fit in your mouth at once, watch the stars in the quiet night, listen to crikets..... do something wonderful and never have an ordinary day!
